Breast duct endoscopy, also known as fiberoptic breast endoscopy, has now replaced galactography as the first choice for etiological diagnosis of nipple discharge. Breast duct endoscopy is easy to operate, minimally invasive and intuitive, which effectively improves the diagnostic rate of breast duct bulge lesions, and can also be used for the treatment of benign breast duct lesions, such as breast duct endoscopy assisted minimally invasive resection of breast duct lesions, treatment of plasma cell mastitis, and positioning of tumor guide wire in breast duct. Clinical studies at home and abroad have confirmed that breast ductoscopy has found many cases of carcinoma in situ in breast ducts, but these early canceration information has not been clearly found in mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI, thus becoming one of the magic tools for early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
